Fall has finally hit in western Maryland & it‘s pretty spectacular. Driving around quickly reminds me that we live in a pretty rural area. View of the mountains (not sure what mountains they are) from our neighborhood. Now time to start over posting with all the book reviews I need to catch up on.

pickWow! This book had me thinking and questioning things. It talked about an event that affected the whole world, which caused mandates and fears. It closely resembled to what we went through with COVID but here you really start to question the meaning of life. It took me longer to read it because I needed time to process but I really liked it. It even made me cry a few times. 4.5⭐️

pickFinished this for #AuthoraMonth. I couldn't decide on which of her fiction to start with, so I figured I'd start with this instead. I had never heard of it, and I really enjoy nonfiction. This was beautiful, and really made me miss my mom! Er...she lives in a different state, is all. Anyway, very much enjoyed this quick memoir. It also has a #leaf and #someonesback on the cover for #ISpyBingo.
