The #KirkusPrize Finalists for Children's and Young Adult literature 🎉🎉🎉 -- Plus Thunder Boy Jr by Sherman Alexie, of course! (Didn't fit in the pic)

Librariana Thunder Boy Jr had such a powerful, phenomenal message! And combined with those illustrations 😍 8y
BookishMarginalia @librariana I'm looking forward to reading it! 8y

The #KirkusPrize Finalists for Nonfiction look terrific!

Hooked_on_books Evicted is so, so good. It has my vote! 8y
Soscha I'd predicted Evicted would be winning some awards this year. It's a must-read. 8y
SharonGoforth I'm about number 30 out of 80 holds for Hillbilly Elegy at my library. The author is from the town I grew up and still live in, so it is popular here. 8y
Zelma I cannot wait to read Evicted and I have Truevine on my shelf. Some great options here. 8y

The #KirkusPrize finalists for fiction -- I'm excited because usually my tastes mesh well with Kirkus!

SharonGoforth Amor Towles is coming to a local bookstore on Saturday-can't wait to hear him speak! 8y
Tillie Kirkus has hits, the above mentioned fiction, but then they will recommend a book that is so off, misses?! 8y
BookishMarginalia @Tillie So true! For me, most misses relate to violence, gore, or dystopias... 8y
