This, along with some other Philippa Gregory books, has been on my shelf for a very long time.

Yes yes yes!!! Why wasn‘t this made a movie or series?? It was from the beginning very interesting, but continued to climax!! As you go between one character and the other and everybody just trying to keep from the gallows in Henry VIII kingdom!!! Must read!!!
I am using the tagged book for the Informative prompt for @ravenlee 's #covid19challenge
Very good. Interesting account of a person that has been vilified throughout history as someone who helped to bring down her brother and Sister in law (George and Anne Boleyn) and Catherine Howard . Even though this is a debut book you can see the influence her husband the prominent Tudor historian John Guy as the writing style is similar as it just flowed and read like a novel and the wealth of research that has gone into it. I have not been able to put this down!!! This is such a good book!! This is one that definitely should have made a series or movie!!!!
She catches the kings eye within moments of arriving at court, setting in motion the most dreadful machine of politics, intrigue and treason that she does not understand.... here we go ... oh that Henry VIII 😬
I have enjoyed the Boleyn Story tremendously. The drama surrounding the Tudor court, the royal family and King Henry was enough to keep me turning the page!
Continuing the fascinating journey into the Tudor court and the scheming Boleyn and Howard family 🤓🤩
