We did 16 miles in a kayak this weekend down the Lynches River in South Carolina, so I am just now catching up on #riotgrams! This is one of my favorite morning reading spots, my front porch! #howyouread @bookriot

I missed yesterday's #Riotgrams post...but it was for a totally legit reason! I spent the weekend in Talkeetna, AK with my boyfriend and his family while they visit AK for the first time. Here's a shot I got of the majestic mountain Denali! It's also relevant to the #howyouread prompt for yesterday. During the summer, I try to read outside as much as possible. Can't complain about the views! #howIread #alaska #denali 🗻🏔⛰

#howyouread from yesterday. Usually I read in bed with my cat by my side. I also read on the couch or at my kitchen table. I almost always read physical copies, with the occasional audio book #riotgrams

So this isn't normally #howiread but I wish it were! I'm sad to see that Awakening is not a super popular novel with Littens. I love this novel and Chopin's reflections on personhood and the mother-woman.

Well, that all depends! Clockwise from the top left: audiobooks for my commute (usually via Hoopla), on the patio at work during lunch, on my favorite couch in the living room at home, or in bed at the end of the day. Those are the top 4, anyway...

#howyouread Really as much as I can, anywhere I can, anyway I can. To that end, I read a lot of digital books, taking advantage of the lending programs my library offers as well as digital book deals. I read physical books, on my kindle device, and occasionally on my iPad, but mostly I like the portability and flexibility of my phone, even though it gives me headaches when I read too much 😕 #riotgrams

#howyouread Usually in bed, usually with my husband and Oscar and Darla. Sometimes on my back porch....sometimes on my living room couch...often during lunch at work. I always have an audiobook, a #serialreader book, and a book/e-book on the go. Currently, for example, I'm listening to Gone with the Wind, pecking slowly at Les Mis, and reading File of H in hardcover. #catsoflitsy

#howyouread is any way I can! Overdrive, Kindle, actual book... I'll take any and all of those options. But mostly, I like to read in or by the water. #riotgrams
