I started in on Phoebe and Marigold a little late, as I started with book 5. But it is so lovely to go back and be able to read about their early adventures. This is book 2, and it had smiles and laughter breaking out by all who read it. Plus that are some really good christmas comics.

The story is interesting, but is very hard to follow. Everything comes together in the end, however the story is constantly jumping from one point to another. It‘s a one off not a series, and I think it would have done better as a series. Somethings are so drawn out the are not easy to understand, and others so very short that I wish the authors had taken more time to explore.

It was just okay. I am not sure I would consider this a GN. I think of it more as a fully illustrated collection since little to no speech or thought bubbles were used. Some of the stories like the Mask of the Red Death were so paired down, it took it‘s soul away, while others, we just too long winded (I‘m looking at you Tell Tale Heart).

I was immediately in love with Gertrude. The 37 year old foul mouthed pain in the heiny stuck in a 10 year old's body. She was supposed to spend an hour, or even a day in Fairyland, but instead she has been stuck for 27 years. She has just gotten more rotten as time goes on.

This was a great underwater adventure. It feels much longer than it is, and I can't understand why, but even though it feels long, you want to keep going to see what happens next. My only real complaint is that I am tired of graphic novels with scantily clad women with big breasts. Not all “super” women need to look like this. DO BETTER artists.

Have you ever wondered what Star Trek would be like if all the human crew died and the cats became intelligent life left to run the ship. If this thought has ever crossed your mind then I have the graphic novel for you. Kitten breading is out of control, the ship is falling apart, and the Lumans are quickly approaching. This was an interesting read, and I can wait to see where the story goes.

3.5⭐️ Catwoman is in a new city, where she has a lot of imitators getting her into trouble. Where the corrupt wife of the governor is going to be a new powerful enemy that will shake up her plans for the future. I enjoyed the storyline, although it somewhat reminded me of the Halle Berry Catwoman movie with Sharon Stone. Even the graphics seem to harken back to that title.

3.5 An interesting space opera. The Queen is on the run. Her planet and people taken over by revolutionaries. She wants her people to be free, but she also wants to live and free. But the two can not happen if others keep stabbing her in the back. Overall an interesting graphic novel. I liked the art work better than the story line.
