The Woman in Me | Britney Spears

Very good. Heartbreaking and so passionate in wanting to tell her real story not just the story we hear in the press. Full of raw feelings and stories that will make you mad on her behalf. A must read for true Britney Spears fans.

What an adorable book this is! I sat down on a Saturday afternoon before Christmas and read the whole thing in one sitting! A cross between A Christmas Carol and Groundhog Day, this one is sure to keep you smiling!

Get your copy at https://bookshop.org/shop/TheBookishBirder - BookShop.org – the online bookstore that donates 75% of the book‘s profit margin to indie bookstores!

Thanks to #netgalley and #gallerybooks for the chance to read and review this interesting book. #thebookoflostnames by @kristinharmel

What a wonderful book. Eva Abrams is a semi retired librarian (in her 80s) who reads an article about a man in Germany trying to return books that were stolen by the Nazis during the war. She realizes the book he talks about is the one she used to code the names of the children she helped⤵️

Crazeedi escape from France by forging their papers. Her story of her life during the war is beautifully told. This book is based on true events which makes it all the more poignant. Definitely read this story, it will stir your heart 5y
Cuilin @Crazeedi Sounds like a great story. 5y
Crazeedi @Cuilin it really is 5y

🍇🍷 5 ★ A fabulous book I highly recommend! Set at the century‘s old Maison Chauveau Winery in the Champagne region of Nazi occupied France, The Winemaker‘s Wife is an absolutely delicious concoction of love, secrets, betrayal, and redemption. I read this compelling novel in one sitting, yes it was that good! A 2019 favorite for me.

A predictable beach read that has the usual family drama, romance and beach descriptions embedded throughout. Set in the low country of South Carolina, this one also shows the author‘s love for loggerhead turtles and conservation. Pleasant read and enjoyable storyline. Thanks to #GalleryBooks and #simonandSchuster for an advanced readers copy in exchange for an honest review. 4⭐️. #recommend #GalleryBooks #SimonandSchuster

LitandLeisure Nice review. Is it a collection of short stories? 6y
Wellreadhead @LitandLeisure Thanks! Sort of. Each chapter focuses on one of the sisters lives, so you can read them as individual stories really. 6y

This book broke my heart for multiple reasons, but ultimately it ended strong and triumphantly. ❤️ A story told in two alternating time periods (late 50s-mid 60s and early 70s) by a young white girl named Tallulah from Mississippi. The author does an amazing job of aging her voice from a 10 yo to a 27 yo. Mental illness, racism, bullying and child neglect all play a part here but so does courage, strength and hope. All the stars and then some. 5⭐️

Just realized that with this book I‘m jumping from one season to another from my last book (Snowblind)...🤣🤣🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

Heatherfeather Do you get a lot of ARCs? How do you get them mainly? 7y
robinb @Heatherfeather Some are through BookishFirst, some are through NetGalley, and some through favorite authors‘ review teams. It‘s basically just luck sometimes. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 7y
