This was an interesting beauty and the beast retelling. Pretty classic in terms of the beats but a few key differences - the beauty is not that beautiful for example. I enjoyed this.

This was my favorite fairy tale as a kid because of Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre. I watched her production of The Twelve Dancing Princesses countless times. I was so excited to find it on youtube:

Took longer for me to get into this one than it has with some other books I‘ve read recently. I think this was a good retelling with a hint of Nightmare on Elm Street.
