My friend opened a bookstore "by and for people of color, where everyone is welcome" called Duende District. She doesn't have a brick and mortar store yet, but currently has a pop up at a coffee shop in Takoma Park, Washington, DC. I'm so proud of her and was super excited to support her vision (and get a caffeine fix!) this morning.
