This was a very quick read. A bit young, and the characters lack emotional depth. But the story did grab me.
I'm definitely reading the rest of the series.

It‘s Ali Hazelwood. So, cute romcom stories about grumpy, handsome and very tall men and cute, tiny women. Everyone is smart and there‘s at least one word I can‘t pronounce. But they are fun, and even if they are similar to each other, they are different enough from other books that I‘ll keep reading them. #doublespin #bookspinbingo
A couple of days late on my mid-month #bookspinbingo check in, but it's been a weird month (year?), and better late than never. Not reading as much as I'd like but still more than I anticipated, and I completed my #bookspin & #doublespin picks, so there's that

So cute! And pretty funny! I‘ve read a couple of this author‘s other books and will definitely read more.
#bookspinbingo - this is my #doublespin for this month!
I just finished this fun cozy mystery this morning. It was a nice palette cleanser from thrillers and horror.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2
It was a slow start but I‘m glad I stuck with it.

The first part of this huge collection is done. Read the first two short stories as my #DoubleSpin this month. Both stories are good and very Warhammer-ish, but too similar if read directly after each other. The first story is set before Xenos, the second one after. The stories are recommended for fans of Eisenhorn, especially since we learn how he lost his hand in the second one.

Well that was crazy! My #doublespin for February @TheAromaofBooks
This is full of shady high-power lawyers, pharmaceutical companies, and stock investors making as many millions as possible while a bad drug is exposed, regardless of the impact a drug has to a patient. I wanted to be done - gratuitous spending and money-grabbing is all kinds of ick. Yet, I was surprising intrigued by Washington DC public defender Clay pulled into that world and finding his way out.
