I'm so happy about this month's #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin picks! These are both books that I really want to read, but just hadn't made time for them yet. @TheAromaofBooks
I'd already decided I was going to read The Huntress for #AuthorAMonth- how cool that it's my @BookSpin pick! @Soubhiville
My April #bookspin and #doublespin picks!
Any of my #roll100 picks and the buddy read for #riseupreads 🦋

The story follows a Cameroonian immigrant family—Jende Jonga, his wife Neni, and their son—in ‘07-‘08 NYC. Against the backdrop of the economic crisis and Obama‘s election, we see Jende working for better opportunities for himself and his family, as his future becomes more and more entangled with the family for whom he works as a chauffeur. It‘s a fascinating, nuanced take on the American Dream, with the Jonga family‘s struggles set against ⤵️

My #BookSpin is: The Wisdom of Tea
My #DoubleSpin is: The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs
April‘s #bookspin and #doublespin. Thanks @TheAromaofBooks !
I‘m not sure I‘ll make it through Lullaby. I sometimes can‘t handle how gruesome Palahniuk can be. But it‘s number has come up so I‘m going to try.
Here‘s my #bookspinbingo picks. My #doublespin is the book I‘m reading this month for the #christiescapers buddy read and my #bookspin pick is a book I‘m reading for a book club on Fable. There was a poll up on Fable to vote on the book. I was the only person who voted on April‘s book and my choice won the poll. I‘m excited. I‘ve been wanting to read Sorcery Of Thorns for a while. I feel like I should be able to get both of these books read.
