#PoetryMatters Day 10: #Cauldron
@Leftcoastzen I don't have a huge Crowley collection, but have got his Simon Iff stories in the same edition as your "Drug" book (which I've had on my shelf since 2014 and, like you, I've also not read ?), a couple of his tarot books, and his tarot deck. I don't believe in divination, but do find the system interesting culturally and psychologically.
While we are on the subject @Bookwomble this is a Crowley that‘s has been sitting unread on my shelves since December of 2015.As a bookseller we were always told books by Crowley are among the most stolen.I guess if you are planning to practice dark arts book theft is pretty minor league.Bibles get stolen a lot as well , is the logic there forgiveness?😆🤷♀️🤔
I bought this in August 1986, started reading its 960 pages, and got about 10% of the way into it then put it down for 35 years. It just sprang to my notice today that somehow over the intervening period I've managed to not catalogue it. Well, I have now, and wonder whether I might read it this year 🤔
(Yes, Crowley *has* drawn a knob on his own head in the self-portrait on the cover 🍆)
This book was fantastic. On the day of her death Orquidea gathers her family to her so that she can give them their Inheritance and then she literally transforms into a tree. Seven years later after a few of the family members die questionably Marimar, Rey and Rhiannon start searching for answers to Orquidea's history.

The lyrics to Crowley‘s lullaby from episode one. It‘s just too perfect!!! It‘s just up there with 100 Monkeys‘ song “Keep Awake.” EVERYBODY SING!!!

What I imagine @Branwen was doing at the part today.

A book for Instagram haha. I thought I‘d give a collection of Crowley writing a go, but while it might look good on my bookshelf to me it‘s impenetrable, exceedingly trite.
