pickI bought this from #BOTM on a whim and ended up really enjoying it...set in the 1950s, with a spunky main character, a creepy old house, and a family full of dark secrets. The truth about the house and family ended up being a touch weird and beyond twisted but I couldn't put it down.

Hopefully this light read will counteract the heavy heat going on in Upstate NY right now. I would like to stick my head in the freezer for the afternoon! 😂
pickAn old girl's school haunted by murder and sadness. The main characters from the present and (especially) the past were interesting and engaging. Loved it...even more than The Sun Down Motel. I will definitely be reading any of St. James' future offerings!

My Mother gave me a tablet she doesn't use and I downloaded my Nook app to it. My Nook broke about 4 years ago, so it was interesting to see what is still on that TBR. 😂 This one, a pandemic novel seemed like the appropriate choice for today.

pickThe message of this book was something I really needed to hear at this moment. I liked Glennon's writing style...short "essays" that had a cohesive string running throughout. Glennon is currently married to Abby Wambach...a soccer star from my current city, Rochester, NY. I highly recommend following them on your social medias like I do. Their relationship is an inspiration for living your best untamed life!
