So I‘m now 2/2 with Carley Fortune! I‘ve always been a sucker for summer-romance-at-the-lake and second chances. I may have found a new (to me) must read romance author!

There was a lot I liked, but then one particular plot point really dampened my enthusiasm. Got “the ick” as the young people say.

I‘m glad I‘ve started reading this author. Another pick! Lovable, real, flawed characters and a wonderful setting. I enjoyed how well the story switched between present and past. I agree with another reader that asked for Charlie‘s story.

Another rainy morning at the cottage so we are stuck inside until it (hopefully) clears this afternoon. Our time at the cottage is quickly running out and I'll miss being able to get this much reading time in!! I'm looking forward to reading a bit of forest mystery while up at the cottage.
