Here‘s my #top24of24! I read some great books this year, including some new releases, classics I‘d had on my TBR for a long time, and a few that had been sitting on my shelf. Overall a good reading year. 📚

Megabooks The Safekeep was so good! Nice list!! 3w
squirrelbrain We have quite a few the same - and I had Bird Hearts and Flamingo on previous years‘ lists! 3w
TrishB Great list 👍🏻 3w
See All 23 Comments
Tamra We have 3 in common. 😁 Clear, History of Sound, and North Woods. 3w
BarbaraBB It‘s almost scary, I agree on so many… I have All Fours, The Safekeep and History of Sound on this year‘s list too. Remains, Garden of Evening Mist, Fingersmith, Little Friend, Burgess Boys, Moon Tiger and Little Birds are all time favorites of mine. ⬇️ 3w
BarbaraBB Also, I loved Flamingo, The Wall, Clear, What I‘d rather not Think About, Kids run the Show, Ordinary Failings, Margo and North Woods!! So I need to read the ones I haven‘t yet: Noopiming, Days Work, Get in Trouble, Brief Lives and of course Intermezzo 👯🤍 (edited) 3w
sarahbarnes @BarbaraBB so crazy how similar our reading has been! I will say your list has inspired me to read more crime noir this year - I‘m interested in the ones you listed! 📚 3w
sarahbarnes @Tamra I just saw your list! So fun to see all the similarities! 😊 3w
sarahbarnes @squirrelbrain ah I just saw you posted your list! 3w
sarahbarnes @Megabooks so good!! Thank you! 3w
sarahbarnes @TrishB ♥️♥️ 3w
youneverarrived So many great books here 🤍 I love Sarah Waters! I bought the Safekeep the other day so I think that will be one of my first reads of the new year. 3w
sarahbarnes @youneverarrived that sounds like a great plan. You‘re in for a wonderful read. 🩵 3w
kspenmoll Some of these books are up for me this 2025- I get the best book ideas from everyone‘s #Top24of24 (edited) 3w
Suet624 Hahaha. Each book I saw listed I‘d say “yup, so good”. I haven‘t read every one on your list but close enough. It‘s been a great reading year for both of us! 3w
sarahbarnes @kspenmoll I agree! It‘s always so fun to look at the lists and add to my TBR! 3w
sarahbarnes @Suet624 too funny - I feel like we‘ve definitely both read some great books this year! I‘ve definitely gotten some recommendations from you. 3w
Lesliereadsalot So many good ones on there! 3w
Cathythoughts Taking a screenshot to investigate further 👍🏻😁 3w
Centique I love so many books on your list! So glad to see Garden of Evening Mist, Remains of the Day and Moon Tiger are there 😍 and North Woods is probably my favourite of the year. 3w
JuniperWilde I have Noopiming on my TBR. I‘ve been waiting for the right moment to start it. Your list has prompted me to put it top of my list for ‘25. 3w
sarahbarnes @JuniperWilde it really is so good. I hope you enjoy it! 3w
sarahbarnes @Centique @Lesliereadsalot @Cathythoughts here‘s to another great reading year! ♥️♥️ 3w

Pretty excited about my list from @Read4life The ones marked in green are ones I‘ve read, and the blue ones are sitting on my shelves ready to be picked up in January. Thanks so much, @monalyisha for putting this together! Looking forward to lots of reading fun! #auldlangspine 🎉🎉🎉

I got 65/100. Several I had never heard, but now want to try. Here are the three that I will try first:

1. Butterscotch Pie
2. Graham Cracker Toffee
3. Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Now I want pie! 🥧 great list @dabbe #TLT

TheSpineView I tried the Strawberry Pretzel at a pot luck. I liked the sweet and savory combo. 2mo
dabbe I do, too! 🤩 Thanks for playing and sharing! 🧡🍁🤎 2mo
MaureenMc In my neck of the woods (Midwest) we emphasize the *salad* part of strawberry pretzel salad, so it‘s a side dish, not a dessert. 🤣🤣 (edited) 2mo
Mollyanna @TheSpineView that‘s what intrigues me about it. I love sweet/salt together. 2mo
Mollyanna @MaureenMc I grew up with cookie salad or snickers salad as a side dish 😂, so I‘m right there with you! 2mo

I've seen 18/100 of these fan favorites! Not a very good ranking, but I'm a 90's baby. What do you rank?

dabbe Not bad at all! Thanks for playing and sharing! 🖤🎃🖤 4mo

#tuesdaytunes @TieDyeDude

I love to listen to relaxing sounds when reading, especially those that involve nature (rain sounds are a favorite). My new passion are the albums on the National Parks with beautiful musical tones as well as sounds from the parks themselves. The albums are all available on AppleMusic and Spotify, and I created a playlist on Spotify if you're interested. Here's the shortened link:
https://shorturl.at/13eJX ⬇️

dabbe Some places include: Acadia, Alaska, American Rivers, Blue Ridge Mountains, California Coast, Canadian Rockies, Carlsbad Caverns, Everglades, Grand Canyon, Glacier Lakes, Great Smoky Mountains, The Desert, Monterey Bay, The Northwest, The Rocky Mountains, etc. ... 5mo
Kerrbearlib I‘m going to check these albums out- thanks for sharing! 5mo
dabbe @Kerrbearlib They're my new fave ... I have the entire playlist running all day through my Sonos. I hope you like them! 🩵💙🩵 5mo

Suet624 Oh my gosh! Thank you for this playlist. I like listening to nature sounds, especially in winter when the snow is coming down outside my window. 5mo
dabbe @Suet624 You're welcome! I'm playing it right now! 🩶🧡🩶 5mo
TieDyeDude That's cool. I never thought to listen to ambient sounds before. I'll have to give that a try. Stacy doesn't like listening to music while reading, so that could be a compromise. 5mo
dabbe @TieDyeDude I hope she likes it! 🤩 5mo

I got 91/100… I love movie soundtracks. It‘s hard to pick top 3 songs, so I‘ll go with top 3 singers/actors

1. Gene Kelly
2. Barbra Streisand
3. Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers

Honorable Mention: Judy Garland

Classic movie musicals are totally my thing 😊

#TLT

lil1inblue I love classic movies - especially the musicals. Gene Kelly is just phenomenal! 5mo
Mollyanna @lil1inblue Absolutely agree. He could sing, he could dance… Love Gene Kelly. 5mo
dabbe #woohooyou! I adore classics and musicals, too! And your choices? 🎯 Thanks for playing and sharing! 🩶❤️🖤 5mo
Mollyanna @dabbe this was a trip down memory lane, I couldn‘t get enough of the classic musicals during my teens and early 20s. 5mo
