I have read some weird books over the years. But this is right up there.
I guess I expected a cosy mystery, but it‘s more of a thriller, or maybe a crime noir (?!), with the speaking cat having a bit of an existential crisis over the fact that he‘s a speaking cat. All of which is fine.
Then we got to the bit with the phone book. 😵💫🤯.
Seriously weird.
Apparently we are having a family cuddle this morning!
That look every cat gives to anyone who attempts to make them do anything (even if it‘s something they actually want to do).

pickQuite a sweet tale about a very clever cat called James and his friends. He sniffs out forgeries, apprehends jewel thieves and investigates crimes. James likes a tot of whisky and has a taste for finer foods. I enjoyed joining him on his adventures. 3⭐️
