#SchoolSpirit Day 13: Dorothy dreamed of being in charge of “a fine brick library” similar to the one they had in her Massachusetts hometown. She pursued this dream and went to Radcliffe College and went off to library school. Soon after #graduation, however, she fell in love and her life took on a different path as she and her husband moved to a farm. My review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-4jb

I will always pick up books about mobile libraries. Moose and assorted menagerie love stories and find ways to get more. All good vibes. Art style not quite my thing.

The last of the Mobile Library Mystery series. I'm glad it's done because I was finding Israel more and more tiresome. But I also found the stories themselves intriguing, meaning I wish there were more. I may have to look at other Ian Sansom novels. #32-2024

Book 2 in The Mobile Library mysteries. I'm struggling a bit because, while the stories are entertaining, they're not written in a way that you can "solve" the mystery along with the characters. Information is withheld to make a bigger reveal when they figure it out. Israel is not adapting to his new environment at all. We should be seeing his grow as a person along the way. Can someone please tell me what SPK means in this context? #28-2024

We went to the library. We call it 'Putojoča knjižnjica' which mean Moving Library.
I already found words Mobile Library and Bookmobile here on Litsy.
So many different words for the same thing. How you call it in your country?

#mobilelibrary #bookmobile #movinglibrary

AmyG We call it the Bookmobile where I came from…NE United States. 10mo
Dilara We call it “bibliobus“ here in France. “Bus“ as in “bus“, “biblio“ as in “bibliothèque“ which means “library“. 10mo
TheBookHippie Bookmobile here! USA 10mo

A reread for me and finished up this morning with #Zeke . This is a good start to the Bookmobile Cat mystery series, featuring a librarian, her cat, and murder, and a bookmobile. What I appreciate most is the setting in Michigan and the descriptions used - I‘ve never been to Michigan, but I could envision the town and the countryside. It was fun to revisit this book for my IRL cozy mystery book discussion. #CatsOfLitsy
