This was a reread from last year. Lots of points to be made for # HauntedShelf. This is also my #Bookrec for #Dark.

Yes, this series is over the top, but if you are willing to embrace the ridiculousness, it‘s so much fun! I think of Finlay as the Lucy Ricardo of cozy mysteries…always getting herself into wacky situations. She‘s a great character though, as is her sidekick, Vero!

Just finished reading Ghost Station by SA Barnes and it was AWESOME. Twisty story, scary space station, mind-bending situations…I had a great time. The atmosphere was impeccable - I never knew when something might be coming around a corner. Highly recommend for sci-fi horror fans!

Wolfman likes nursery rhymes. He even sings them as he tortures & kills men. Even though Rose was a nun she was instantly attracted to Wolfman whenever she saw him. Wolfman notices something is off with Rose as does the head nun. When he looks into her he finds out she's using being a nun as a way to hide. The club & Wolfman vow to protect her. I gave this book 4 stars. It was different seeing a biker & a nun together but they worked. #bookrec

I‘ve been looking forward to reading this one for months. I throughly enjoyed it!

Set in London in 1940. Ellie comes from a family that lives on the shady side of the law with their locksmith/safecracking business. Things don‘t go according to plan one evening and Ellie is offered the opportunity to use her unique skills for king and country. Already looking forward to the next book in the series.

One of the reviewers said it‘s like ‘Hunger Games meets The Purge‘. It starts with a teen who was coerced into pleading guilty for something she didn‘t do. Now she is trapped on an island hoping to survive long enough for them to find the real killer. In the meantime she needs to outsmart notorious assassins & has many home viewers. Can she turn the tables?

I‘ve been in a #readingslump and this #thriller was a #bookrec for the #reluctantreader

Started listening to this thriller on my commute. Definitely attention grabbing enough to enjoy it! It was recommended to me as an audiobook and I‘m giving it a listen. Small town with secrets; and a reverend, who‘s the mother of a teen, just strolled in with secrets of her own. #commuteread #commute #audiorec #audiobook #audio #bookrec #bookrecs #bookrecommendation

The Teacher Misery books crack me up; precisely because they‘re just so relevant! I definitely liked how this one had both positive and negative experiences. Also, confession: I authored one of the anecdotes in this book...

I haven‘t seen the show (but I really want to!), so when I saw they had turned it into a novel I was so excited! Did not disappoint, read it :-) #dearevanhansen #bookrec #readit

I loved this book! If I could have read it in one sitting, I would have (but, toddler). I was a little apprehensive at first, because I couldn‘t get in to other books by this author, but so glad I tried it! #bookrec #readit
