Wasn‘t a fan of this. My least favorite part of watching/reading Bourdain‘s works are his opinions about America‘s food culture. In his graphic novel, a corporate chef and a locavore chef battle for control of the upscale dining market. But Jiro, an edo-style sushi chef, and other upholders of food traditions battle back for control of America‘s stomachs. I also never appreciate his fat shaming. That really kills me about him. #hoopla

Went out today -my Bourdain book to you!

Jessica and Rachel made me laugh quite a bit at their antics and thoughts about life. I‘ll be mailing this out today or tomorrow.

After enjoying “Swamp Story” so much, I knew I wanted to try more of Dave Barry‘s work. It‘s wonderful to read books that make you really think and feel, but it‘s equally a gift to read a book that makes you laugh! This didn‘t quite capture the same magic for me as my first read of his, but the Floridian Hangover-esque story was definitely fun and entertaining!
