pickA short prequel to The Lost Lake, it's beautifully crafted, sad but with a touch of magic. Sarah Addison Allen is one of my favorite authors, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next book she writes!
pickToday‘s #ReadingResolutions prompt is #FavoriteAuthor. And Sarah Addison Allen is definitely that! I‘m enamored of ALL of her books. Including “Waking Kate”, (not pictured) a free short story prequel to Lost Lake. I love that this beautiful and haunting tale is free on Kindle, but, in my little bookie heart, I wish I could buy it as a hardcopy! Who knows, maybe it‘ll come out in a future short story collection?

I took the day off work and am spending the morning with a digital short story from one of my favorite authors. And I wouldn't even know it existed if it weren't for fellow Litten, @MidnightBookGirl !
