A fun, quirky book about a psychic that runs into a real ghost who convinces her to help save his family farm. Charlie is a hypocrite, but other than that he‘s your average farmer who‘s too tough to face his feelings. Lots of fun banter, sexual tension for most of the book and then a few raunchy sex scenes. 5⭐️ THIS WAS SO GOOD! I cannot believe I waited as long as I did to read this book, cause it‘s been on my TBR for at least two years. I think what held me back was the idea that it was a sci-fi, and I am not a sci-fi girly, but there‘s such an epic fantasy vibe to it that it just works. 100% recommend, looking forward to book two. This was my #DoubleSpin for my #BookSpinBingo and my #Roll100 #67 for March.

#ReadAway2024 #MarvelousMarch #readathon

My #Roll100 #67, I actually finished it a few days ago but between being work busy & trying to figure what I think about it, I hadn‘t posted it yet. I‘m still unpacking my feelings about this one. It is beautifully written & I loved the natural elements, but I hadn‘t read any reviews before starting & it ended up being much heavier & darker than I thought & I don‘t think I was emotionally ready for it. ⬇️

DebinHawaii …There were a lot of triggers from domestic abuse to sexual assault & A LOT of animal death (which is something I struggle with reading about). I felt pretty wrecked after reading the second half especially. I also thought the beginning was stronger than the end. Still, all that aside it‘s a pick for being well researched & written & making me think & feel. 🩶🐺 8mo

DieAReader @PuddleJumper I‘d like to jump into the #Roll100 challenge🤓📚 & am wondering what I need to know🧐 I have a list of 100 books all set & will back track to see what the January & February #s were. What else do I need to know? (edited) 9mo
PuddleJumper @DieAReader Nope, that's pretty much it! I roll the numbers every month and you read the corresponding book. You can pick how many you read, whether you replace read books in your list or just read the next closest number. I'll add you to my tag list so you'll get tagged for the April rolls 9mo

Okay first, the songs mentioned throughout this book make for a damn good soundtrack! Now second, the military piece is a little far fetched but I don‘t mind because romantic fantasy always outweighs reality. This was a quick read for me because I didn‘t want to put my kindle down. I was consumed by the chemistry between Izzy and Nate from page one. Book #67 in 2023

4/5
A few loose ends in this one, but in this case, it's okay to leave some things open to interpretation. Part mystery, part supernatural (maybe?), it kept me hooked the whole time.

Mehso-so

Meh. The story of a jilted 41 year old woman who was left at the alter. Nothing interesting about a woman who has a bad relationship with food and an overbearing family. The climax happened in the first few pages when her groom didn‘t show and it went nowhere from there. Then she daydreamed non stop about mundane things. Next. Book #67 in 2022

Book 7 in the Bookmobile Cat Mystery series was not a disappointment. I'm starting to know the pattern of the stories, but each one is just intriguing enough to keep me interested while not taxing my brain. #67-2022
