Would you want to know the date you would die? The four siblings in this book are told the day will die. Reading this book was a complete mind f***. Although I have to be honest...it kept me engaged through the first 3/4 of the book but that last 1/4 was torture. Not what I expected. But I still LOVED IT. Can't say too much more because of spoilers. Anyone else that has read it? Thoughts?

Cinfhen Seems to be a popular opinion ~ people were disappointed with the last 1/4. I loved this book but agree some siblings stories were more compelling 6y
mommymendes @Cinfhen yes sibling #4 was snooze fest for me. Which sibling part did you like least? 6y
Cinfhen I liked the first 2. The brother who went to SF and the sister who was in Vegas 6y
mommymendes @Cinfhen I agree, those were my favorite! 6y
Bookladylinda I totally agree with you guys! I loved the concept of the story. 6y

Well I think I read my last book of 2018 (although I suppose there‘s still time...). I didn‘t do a great job posting or reviewing this year, but I did do a decent job tracking! Pretty happy with my results overall... excuse the shaky pic of my spreadsheet :/. #2018reads

And the final reading spread! I had to cheat and add my two current reads in pencil to fill out the shelf, but overall I get a lot of warm fuzzies from this page! Next year though, I will definitely be underestimating my total and adding books rather than racing to fill them up 😂 #bujo #2018reads #2018wrapup

It was a phenomenal reading year! Of the 178 read, 34 were 5-star reads. I‘m usually pretty stingy with my stars, so this is high. Above is my top 20. I couldn‘t narrow it to #18in2018. Too difficult!

My overall favorite was Frankenstein! A close second was Stephen Florida.

Completed: 178
5-star reads: 34
Audiobooks: 93 (52%)
Nonfiction: 86 (48%)
Classics: 11
Buddy reads: 5
Pulitzer winners: 8
Graphic novels: 6
ARCs: 9
Rereads: 12

Melissa_J Great year!!! I‘m amazed by the totals people are putting up. 6y
Lmstraubie I'm so glad to see the amount of audiobooks you read. I increased my reading so much this year thanks to audiobooks, but sometimes feel guilty, like it doesn't really count. I feel better when I see other Littens loving audiobooks as much as me. Thanks for sharing your stats! 6y

britt_brooke @Lmstraubie I used to be an audio naysayer until I finally tried listening to a book .... and I love them! You have to focus differently, but it totally counts! 💚 6y
britt_brooke @StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego It‘s super tough to choose. So many great ones! 6y
britt_brooke @staci.reads I hadn‘t realized that, but you‘re right! A lot of heavy ones. 6y

Here‘s my #2018wrapup — overall it was a good reading year! This is the first year I did any kind of tracking and I really enjoyed getting a deeper look at my habits. Here are my goals for next year:
📚use my kindle for at least 25% of my reads
📚read more nonfiction
📚read through Andrea Gibson‘s backlist

RaimeyGallant Nice review. :) And welcome to Litsy! #LitsyWelcomeWagon Some of us put together Litsy tips to help new Littens navigate the site. It's the link in my bio on my page in case you need it. Or if you prefer how-to videos, @chelleo put some together at the link in her bio. @LitsyWelcomeWagon 6y
