This book was given to me years ago as a gift from a fellow LibraryThing member. It‘s not until now that I started reading this memoir, but reading about Reb Albert Lewis is turning into a comfort read for me during these turbulent times.

#MitchAlbom books always touch my heart! This one also has a strong “Tuesdays with Morrie” vibe. It‘s about two men of the cloth whose unique life journeys help Mitch revive his faltering faith, and get us readers to reflect on our own lives and priorities. Thrilled to hear Mitch is releasing a new novel with a Holocaust theme in November, which he says is the most important story he‘s ever written.

I picked it because it was good, moving even with good insight. Out of all of his books I‘ve read, it‘s not my favorite though. Perfect read for the gratitude vibe of Thanksgiving.
Next Mitch Albom book finished!! Turned out to be really good book! Looking for a nice book to give you some perspective in life .. this author is the way to go! Many blessings! Oh and found a lovely note left in the book .. such a treasure to find words of love.
There aren‘t that many books that I can say made me feel immensely richer for having read them. Have A Little Faith was one of them. What a tender, heart uplifting little book.

Story of a faith journey that could become a classic. Those who were born into faith, have lost faith, or are still searching will all be engaged and challenged by this powerful story of "finding faith" in relationships with others and with something greater than ourselves. Never satisfied with easy answers or soft platitudes, Mitch explores some of life's greatest mysteries.
I just finished the book and wanted to tell everyone, "Read it!" One of the best I have read. The book mentions Judaism and Christianity quite frequently as it is about a rabbi. However, it talks about acceptance, open-minded ness and humanity. Love it. This is the only book which reflects my thoughts about religion. Believe in your own religion and be open-minded enough to accept other religions.
Absolutely loved!!! The first full audiobook I‘ve ever listened to, made richer as it was Mitch who read it. Already feeling like I‘m gonna buy it so I can read it again and highlight all the passages that moved my heart.
And it hit me, finally, that this was the whole point of my time with Reb and Henry: not the conclusion, but the search, the study, the journey to belief.
Of course anothet great Albom book. I felt it wasnt as good as his others, but it still had some beautiful lessons inside. Def recommend this quick read.
"Someone out there always have it worse than you do."
An eye-opener story inspired by true events. ?

How do you write a fitting eulogy for someone who may still be alive for several years, but he requests it now? Mitch asks the Rabbi what do people fear most about death? "For one thing, what happens next? Where do we go?" And the other thing? The Rabbi whispers, "Being forgotten."
Went with #nonfiction for the #truth prompt. These are all the #memoir books on my shelf. #Maybookflowers
Albom is asked by his rabbi to prepare the rabbi's eulogy, which ultimately allowed for an 8 year interview into faith, leadership, and love. Alongside this is Albom's involvement with a Detroit pastor who preaches to the homeless in a church with a hole in the roof. The pastor's faith and determination to continue offering solace despite so much adversity was very touching. A quick and lovely read.
My travel companion today! What a lovely little read with deep meaning #BookSwap #SharingIsCaring #LittleFaith #InGodWeTrust
The Reb once did a sermon on how the same things in life can be good or evil, depending on what, with free will, we do with them. Speech can bless or curse. Money can save or destroy. Science can heal or kill. Even nature can work for you or against you: fire can warm or burn, water can sustain life or flood away.
It starts with a question and ends with a lesson.
Like any other Mitch Albom book, this one too stands out in its own way. Giving a profound message, it is a simple story of truth and acceptance.
It is journey that takes you along with it and teaches you too. Strongly recommended for all those who perhaps need a little faith, who perhaps need to restore their faith in goodness.
