Bailed out at only 6% I don‘t want to sit around and read a book of millennial cliches.

Very fast, spicy read, & I cannot figure out why, because I like how it‘s written, I laughed out loud multiple times, but I just didn‘t care about either of these characters. It seemed like their inside thoughts in their POV chapters didn‘t match their actions - especially the male MC.He‘s so grumpy/rude all the time, but there was no crossover of like - here‘s who I really am. I do want to read her again, tho, so she must be doing something right!
I loved this book! I read it in a day, and I couldn't put it down.
A wedding planner who doesn't believe in marriage gets involved with one of her vendors, a florist. I love how the present-day storyline is in her point of view, and the past is in his point of view.
It is a cute rom-con type story with a bit of spice.
DNFing at 40%. I‘m just not enjoying the characters, and also I don‘t like the two timelines, which really made me not enjoy the characters. I do not understand the attractiveness of male characters that barely even talk.
Grumpy vs Sunshine, enemies to lovers, second chance romance and just the right amount of spice makes this a fun choice for that end of summer reading stack. Loved the dual POV's and dual timeline, allowing the reader to see what happened in the past and the present day from both of the main characters. I totally fell in love with Elliot and his gruff demeanor because we get to see what a teddy bear he truly is. Lives up to the hype!
Loved it, finished in a day! Plucky wedding planner and a grumpy florist-one loves weddings, the other not so much. Great banter, lots of angst and plenty of 🌶️🌶️🌶️.
Such a great second chance / grumpy sunshine romance. The dual narration and alternating present to past chapters kept me hooked throughout and has left me with the worst book hangover (and I mean that in the best way possible). I kept hearing a lot of hype for this book before release and it lives up to everything! Highly recommend this one! #audiobook #romance #secondchanceromance
My mind hasn‘t been too well, but I‘m finally reading a book again after the latest Sager novel- Forget Me Not by Julie Soto. It‘s cute and a little sad so far, but these contemporaries really pull me out of my own head so well 💙🥀
Aww I really enjoyed this story. It's always interesting when it's the female lead who was the reason for the break up and has the issues. The plot was really well written. Its a steady burn to a perfect ending. I did love the scene towards the end with Witney too. The characters are fun and likeable especially Elliot. A fun summer beach read. #Netgalley 5*
I didn‘t think I liked second chance romances, but after this fun and swoony romp through wedding season, I guess I‘ll have to give them a…second chance! This grumpy x sunshine romance (think Ted Lasso‘s Keeley/Roy) between a rising wedding planner and a talented, tattooed florist is told in dual perspectives across the years from their mysteriously-ended whirlwind romance and the career-defining celebrity wedding that brings them back together.
