But it also has a wee old Scottish lady living in a dying seaside village that‘s being turned into a golf course as she fights for her home and reminiscence about her late husband and the life they built together. Muriel can‘t be bought and holds onto her land as threats get increasingly more violent. This book was surprisingly sweet and gave me the feels

This was a great, very gross, entertaining folk horror story. I would recommend not knowing much in advance, just note that has some very gnarly body horror. If you are a horror movie fan-I definitely recommend. 5⭐️
