Chloe Gong books are a rollercoaster🎢-thrills, twists, turns & deep dives into the unknown. Do I know what the hell is going on in this book or what‘s going to be revealed in the third book? Absolutely not! Do I care? Absolutely not! I just go where Chloe tells me too.

I love Chloe. I have no idea what happened in this book. Eagerly awaiting the next installment.

In this second book of the series, Calla has accomplished her goal at a terrible cost; now she must find a new destiny. While the first book established certain rules around the ability to jump into another body, this book explores the cheat codes: sigils that permit the user to do the impossible. While not perfect, the series is inventive and intriguing enough that I'll definitely read the next installment whenever it comes out.

This series drives me nuts. The whole body jumping thing is too confusing. The essence of a character walks about in their body of origin until they ‘jump‘ to a body with a more compelling situation. Sometimes, but not always, the bodies left behind exit the story. Other times the essence of a 'jumped‘ body does their own jumping in the seconds before they themselves are jumped. It‘s exhausting - who are these characters? And the end🤯
