While I loved Love & Misadventure of Lang, and couldn‘t wait to read more of her work. This collection however fell way short. I didn‘t connect to all the loss and sadness contained in these poems.

Just a little pre-bedtime reading. Lang Leav has been an incredible source of strength for me these days.

There were some poignant pieces throughout the book and Leav‘s drawings are beautiful. I did feel that a lot of the poems were too rushed and too similar. I also think that the impact of her words are far more powerful when she isn‘t trying to rhyme.

It‘s hard to believe that less than two years ago, this poem by Lang Leav accurately described my relationship. Hours upon hours on the phone and so many miles between us. And now we‘re less than 2 weeks away from one year of marriage!

I learned about this in Silent Book Club on Facebook! Book spine poetry! I have no idea what this means but I am sure it‘s deep. 😂

I adore this little book 🌷⭐️🎵💚

I enjoyed this collection more than her first collection. Divided into three parts Duet, Interlude, and Finale. I enjoyed Finale the most. I copies several passages from it. The other two sections we ok. I did not connect with them as much as the last. I will definitely read more of her work. Im glad I gave this one a try since I didn't just love her first collection of poetry. Maybe her writing gets better the more she does?

Feel this...

Not like Love and Misadventures , Lang Leav has written beautifully but there are some essence missing (according to me) . Some tiny tales give the effect, but it's not long lasting

This P book by Lang Leav was great after The Crossover by Kwame Alexander. I wouldn't recommend this book to younger readers as much as middle grade and high schoolers because if the interwoven themes of heartbreak, loss, and death.

just finished this! Has anyone here read it? I actually have to admit that I didn't like lots of the poems. I felt there was a lack of rythm and some unclean rhymes which bothered me...

This was the first Lang Leav book I ever read and I loved it. I've been wanting to read her poetry for a while since I am such a fan of her boyfriend's (Michael Faudet) poetry.

This collection is absolutely beautiful. I loved how it was broken up into three parts and the story it told.

Overall, I just adored this collection and will definitely be reading more from her.

My book haul after watching Beauty and the Beast in theater.

Sometimes it is just nice to see yourself reflected back on the pages in front of you. That's what these poems feel like. Heartbreak can be an isolating experience, but Leav finds a way to capture the hurt, the questions, and the nostalgia and wrap them all up in a lyrical bow.
