pickI finished this book and just started crying. The family dynamic in Elizabeth Lim's books are amazing. The sisterhood, the loyalty of her friend and just Channi (the protagonist) is chef's kiss. I read this right after reading Six Crimson Cranes and The Dragon's Promise and I'm so happy I did. My heart is in pieces but I love it 😄❤️
Next read! I was gifted this one over the holidays 💕

As a Pisces Moon, I felt seen in the pages of this book. Might not be the best book out there but one of the best to me.
