If you fear what lurks underneath your bed at night, this story will make your fears seem like a fairy tale. When Marcus was a child, his father blamed the boogeyman who lives under the bed for killing his mother. He warned Marcus to leave all of the lights on in the house, or the boogeyman would get him. Marcus didn‘t really believe any of his father‘s survival suggestions, but he never forgot them.

Oh memories of when I was little. I had to sleep with my covers tucked in, no body part off the bed or outside the covers. Surrounded by stuffed animals who would protect me from the monsters.

It's Grady Hendrix. Of course it's great.

I finished the Creature Feature series last week. Out of the series The Ankle Snatcher was definitely my favorite. I probably liked In Bloom the least. I've actually discovered I'm not really a fan of Paul Tremblay.

Finished "It Waits in the Wood" and starting "The Ankle Snatcher." I'm trying to get through all of the Creature Feature books.The later is super creepy so far!

I liked this creepy story, part of the Amazon “Creature Feature” collection & listened to it driving around doing errands. I did have to think about what could be under my bed tonight.😱😉 Looking forward to more of these shorts for #Scarathlon

This is exactly the kind of thing that often keeps me from sticking my foot out from under the covers when I‘m hot. I read this in the dark before I fell asleep last night, not my best division ever. I enjoyed it though!

This was so great!! A 45 minute listen, narrated by Michael Crouch. I could FEEL the fear and tension in the narration. This story takes a very common fear many of us have when we‘re kids and amplifies it and brings it into adulthood. There was one point when I was yelling NOOO while driving and it was glorious. Super fun, tense, creepy short listen. I freaking love this Creature Features collection. Highly recommend reading or listening to it!
