This was a typical Little People Big World book. But is was very well done. I just wish they would mention that Steve died and that his family and others all over the world still do what he did for the protection of animals everywhere.

I share these with my nephew and he loves them. And this one was no different. He loved the brightly colored and adorable illustrations, & we were both fascinated by Irwin's history. I loved learning that his own love of animals actually came from his parents.
The timeline at the end with photographs was a lovely addition, & it led the two of us to youtube to watch some clips of The Crocodile Hunter. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗

His vision and passion for saving animals and bringing awareness to their plates lives on through his foundations and his family. Beautiful illustrated, filled with fun facts, and don't worry, - Steve's death is referenced only as his "tragic death," so no need to censor for the littles. Love this series and this. Will go down as one of my favorites!
