pickThis really nailed that creeping dread aesthetic - I didn‘t quite manage to work it all out before the reveal, I was on the money for parts of it and anxiously in the dark for the rest.
I was super chuffed to see my beloved DWJ‘s Chrestomanci series get a passing mention too!
Can‘t believe I‘m in the final days of my great Canadian adventure already 🤔 time truely does fly when you are having fun!
This book is nice and twisty - I‘m looking forward to untwisting it!
pickI really enjoyed the latest novel from Melissa Albert. Her descriptions of Becca and Nora are strong enough that I feel you would know them if you met on the street. There's a dual timeline, one set in the present and another from 6 months before that covers gaps in Becca's story. 4 stars.

Okay, so I am about halfway through this so far and I cannot put it down! I think this is definitely Melissa Albert's best book yet! 😱
pickAlbert‘s spooky YA novel captures the depth of tight friendships forged young against a backdrop of strange disappearances in a small Illinois suburb. PHS students may seem to know everything about one another, but dark secrets emerge as Nora follows clues left by Becca, her estranged BFF, who disappeared along with 3 others in town. A bit slow to start, but the ending pace flies. Solid audio performance & it left me wanting to go to #DairyDream!
YES! 🥳🎉🎉🎉 I have read everything by Melissa Albert and I have come to expect wonderful things from her! This just released today, and I am over the moon excited to jump into it!
pickThis is YA horror by an author I like a lot. The weeping statue on the cover made this a must read.
