This is a good cozy about Max, who owns a book shop in Snug Harbor. She hosts a mystery writer's group there, and on one night after an argument, one of the members is killed, so of course, one of the others is accused, and Max decides to solve the case.

Hubby went fishing with the camp owner again in crummy weather 🎉 I love fishing but also as a wife/mom/fur mom, it‘s crazy wonderful to have time not caring for another creature. The setting of this book was excellent, and I liked a lot of the characters. The pacing felt odd, some of the proofreading was not great, and a few details were inconsistent. Overall, pretty good- a solid 3, though I won‘t be reading more.

Storming out, hoping I get the night to finish this one!

I enjoyed this cozy very much and I never would of guessed the twist at the end! A solid read that I would seek out more of the series!
