so-soAmazon first reads- not impressed. The MC was whiney and wouldn‘t take charge of her life. Far more trauma and triggers than expected as I thought I was getting a lighter romance.

She heads to the lake cabin left her by her recently deceased brother, only to find out he also willed 1/2 of it to his best friend, Wyatt. Aly uses the time to heal and come to terms with herself while trying to deal with Wyatt. A great read with a satisfying ending. Triggers: childhood abuse and loss of a sibling.
This was my Amazon First Reads pick this month. I was kind of disappointed in the selection this month. This isn‘t my comfort zone genre but it‘s set on the shore of Lake Michigan, the best of the Great Lakes 😊
