so-so2⭐️ I loved Moon Tiger so much that I expected a similar quality with this one, but I‘m left disappointed. This is a story about Stella Brentwood, a retired anthropologist who settled down at Somerset. My problem is the structure of the novel; the back and forths between past and present are so awkward, and what‘s with the Hiscox family story line? 😭 I hope I have better luck next time with Penelope Lively
