TSID - Ingenious British crime novel no2 that's shaping to be a very good series.

This was a good read, they all are in the series, however not my favourite one in the series. At times with being a cold case it fell a bit too plodding and not as much investigating as I would have liked.

Well as its my Birthday I‘m going to treat myself and start the next book in one of my all-time favourite series.

If you love high quality crime fiction you need to read the Roy Grace series which starts with Dead Simple.

Love his use of team briefings and I think Peter does these best of all.

Still a good series.

ravenlee Also, I‘m terrified my dad might read this and try it. A year or so ago he was reading a series in which a MC ate peanut butter and pickle sandwiches, so he just had to have some. For weeks he ate those vile things, and tried to convince my mom to have some. This…would be worse. 2y

Bookwomble I recently made myself Marmite, peanut butter and cheese on toast, and that was an absolute taste sensation! Now I've been imagining swapping the cheese for cucumber, and I can see how that could work. Don't have the ingredients now, but... 😏🥒 2y
