I say it‘s time for yard work. Daisy says one more cup of tea.
Reading in the car and waiting for soccer practice to end. Sometimes a cozy mystery is the only answer. It‘s almost Friday friends!

All tentative on this post! Tagged does 'sunshine noir' and The Road to Jonestown fulfills 'set in a neighbourhood'.
It was OK. Nothing remarkably exciting. A quick easy read
One of the June selections for Bloody Scotland Book Club and a #4wordtitle - now I just need it to arrive through ILL. #bookmoods
This has a similar feel to The Thursday Murder Club, but it's lacking the charm and humor. It was still a decent read, though the mystery wasn't all that great. I did end up liking a couple of the main characters well enough that I'd read the second book when it comes out later this year.
This was a quick read, and I'm learning that I am loving the mystery genre. In this book there are mysteries upon mysteries. Yes, there is the surface mystery where they have to figure out who killed a young woman. Then there are two other mysteries surrounding two of the retired detectives. I want more time with these characters especially with that fourth mystery introduced at the end of the book.
This book has me thinking. I‘m also at the edge of my seat silently begging for Moira to tell them the truth but I have a few guesses how they find out.
