Went to dinner and stopped at the bookstore while I was out. Came home with this haul.
Did I tell you I love book shopping!?! LOL! 🤣🤣🤣

Book 2/200 of my physical TBR. My kindle keeps getting in the way, though 😅
Definitely the slowest burn romance I‘ve ever read, but ultimately worth it. I got a little annoyed with the main character, but I enjoyed her journey of finding strength in herself after two very different losses and her growing relationship with Rhodes & Amos. And I‘m getting used to kindle reading again! Total win. #bookspinbingo #doublespin
This is one Mariana Zapata book I will forever re-read no matter what!! it‘s just so good, if you haven‘t read it you definitely need to add it to your tbr🫶🏼
Love this author and her well crafted stories. This one tackled grief, loss, and how to live again. Lots of great quotes. The romance was so sweet. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My first Mariana read….I wanted to love this book so bad(with all the great things I‘ve heard) but I wasn‘t genuinely interested. I also listened to this on audio and thats probably the only reason I finished reading. Some parts of the story were interesting. Make sure you are in the mood for a MEGA slow burn if you read this book. I hope I enjoy her other books more than I did with this one.
Here is my #septemberwrapup. The first 3 books I started in other months and finished in September and the last 2 I'm still currently reading.
4 audiobooks
4 Kindle reads & 1 currently reading
1 physical read & 1 currently reading
I didn't read nearly as many horror and gothic books as I originally wanted but there is always next month.
#monthlywrapup
This read was like snuggling up next to a fire with a warm blanket on a winter's night. Zapata sets your into a place where you just want to stay and watch things unfold. Rhodes was quiet strength that Aurora didn't realize she was looking for.
April Book 12/25 #LitsyLove #bookspinbingo
Here is my #januarywrapup. I'm a little surprised I finished so many. 12 total this month. The tagged book was by far my favorite this month & my first 5⭐️ read of the year. The bottom 4 books are what I'm still reading because I can never just read 1 book at a time🤷♀️.
Even though this isn't my 1st book read this year, it was my first physical book & 1st 5⭐️ this year. This book was incredible & I am in love w/ this story. I love slow burn & this author always delivers. I love how she portrays her MCs. They are always strong but have flaws & trauma. She always does a wonderful job of showing how they deal w/ issues. It had me balling & it also had me laugh out loud. Im also completely in love w/ Rhodes.#romantsy
I try to savor Mariana Zapata books, but as usual I couldn‘t put it down and finished too fast. The emotional impact of her books hits me every time. The love and loss the characters feel comes through on every page. All Rhodes was another perfect slow burn. Grumpy/sunshine is my jam!

1. RV! We have a 32 foot motor home, our cabin on wheels.
2. Camp Glamp
3. Tagged was great
4. My reading goal this week is to enjoy one of my last weeks of summer break (#litsyteacher) by diving into some epic fantasy. I would love to finish at least 4 books this week and get started on my August #bookspinbingo
I love this authors romances! I love how she writes friend to lovers romances that naturally take course. There is no one who needs to be saved or huge lies for the characters to figure out. I love her style and devour her new books so fast.
I did notice some similarities of this story to other stories she has written on the past but that didn‘t take away from the story or characters, just some scenes felt familiar.
