PROMPT: DUAL TIMELINE

We meet Precious in 1939 as she and Eva are making their way to becoming famous models.

We meet Precious again in 2019 at ninety-nine years of age and willing to tell her story.

We meet Maddie in 2019 as she has been chosen to write Precious's story.

Another wonderful story line written in Karen White's pull-you-in, won‘t-let-you-go style.

Prepping for my author event in May. Karen White is giving a tour of New Orleans to celebrate the publication of book #2 in her Royal Street series, a spin off of her Tradd Street series. Reading this stand alone, that I got from SuperBook III, then will go through her Tradd Street series & start the Royal Street series.

“I hear that it‘s illegal to use utensils to eat fried chicken in Gainesville, Georgia, and might be elsewhere in the South, too.” Lol. As someone who grew up in Georgia, I believe this.

“…another life destroyed as the haphazard finger of fortune pointed with random carelessness.” From the Prologue. Such a vivid image painted with words in regards to the constant bombings London suffered during WWII.
