Loved. This. Book. Snarky humor, nostalgic feel/references, fierce bonds and, oh yeah, a plot twist. 😊 This was my first from this author and did some backtracking. She does not disappoint. A 5⭐️ for me.

Thanks to #netgalley for the ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review. I am drawn to books about books and writing as a rule and this book was a delight to read from the very start until the ending. Very likeable characters I was swept up into their worlds from the very beginning. I found myself wondering what the characters were up to when I wasn't reading it, like they were actual people I know. An engaging feelgood read.⭐⭐⭐⭐ #plottwist
SO GOOD. I really didn‘t expect this one to blow me away like this. Such relatable characters, just enough surprise and intrigue to keep you interested until the very end.
Cute but not much depth. Takes place over a decade but you only get one day, February 4, each year. I liked the premise and loved the twist ending, but something about the execution left me unsatisfied.
Also this is the poster child for, "Communicate, dammit!"
I had three 5⭐️ reviews in April and decided to give this one some ❤️. It was funny, boasted a sweet romance (albeit an unusual one) and a very nicely done bff story.

This was a clever idea for a story. The writing is good, the way the story comes together is good, the "plot twist" is even good. The MC is borderline awful though and by the time I got to the end of the book I was questioning why these people wasted 10 years of their lives waiting for the other one to openly say that they loved them?! Maybe it was just poorly executed? I felt cheated by the story even though I got the happy ending.

“Freaks,” on Netflix is a fascinating movie. I don‘t want to spoil it by saying more. #horror #strange #Scarathalon2021 #TeamSlaughter #scarymovies
OK, I have not loved a book this much in a long time! It is sooo good! It‘s a rom com but so much more. And the snarky humor? Oh yeah! 😂
It covers a decade (2003-2013) in the life of Olivia Ross, (she‘s 30 in 2003), a greeting card writer aspiring to be a screenwriter in CA. On Feb. 4, 2003 she meets a charming, handsome stranger (an aspiring actor) in a coffee shop, and in a whimsical moment they make a pact to meet back there in 10 years 🔻
I, unfortunately, did not love this like I thought I would. Or even like most of my fellow reviewers. I kept thinking she was being ridiculous and then I thought I would be very annoyed if she ended up with The Guy. But, I loved the ending with Fi, The Kid, The Star, and The Boss! The twist was brilliant and I enjoyed it so much, it made up for a lot of the other angst and other rigamarole
Boom 64/2021. Finished 9/3/21 ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
