I got halfway before completely losing interest 🫥 Maybe it‘s a case of “wrong book at the wrong time” but maybe not based on others reviews? Idk, too many other books on my Mt. TBR to tackle #HailtheBail 🚀⛰️📚📚📚

A good summer read about an odd mix of neighbors turned friends. A bonus that it's set in Brooklyn--a sucker for all things NYC!
I‘m not sure why there is such a low rating for this book! I really enjoyed it. If you look at it as what it‘s supposed to be: a book about the lives of the privileged in Brooklyn, NYC, you can see that it is hilarious and quirky with unique characters with not-your-everyday type problems. I enjoyed the Gossip Girl books previously written by this author so I would read future work by her.
I‘m bailing at 31% — I really just don‘t care about any of these characters. At all. And Murder and Adobo awaits!
I enjoyed this but I get that it can be off putting to some — part of my enjoyment is I live adjacent to this Brooklyn neighborhood, so I know quite a few people like these inane, nouveau riche types. 😅 As a ‘Modern Family‘ sequence comedy...it‘ll do. Very slice of life. Don‘t expect that much. 😂
Sorry it's coming a bit late. Nevertheless, Happy new year😘😘😘
Here's to a great year🥂🥂🥂
I personally didn't care for this one. The characters, and their concerns, did not interest me at all.
