pickAfter a near-death experience, autistic nonbinary teen Sam Sylvester & their father (wonderful character!) move to a new city to start over. There, Sam stumbles upon a mystery that they can‘t resist trying to solve even as it leads them & their new friends into danger. The mystery is uninspiring but the representation, the friendships, the accepting & welcoming community are fantastic as is Sam‘s road to finding a place where they can be themself.
Starting this one tonight—it‘s a YA mystery featuring a nonbinary autistic teen who moves to a new town (with dad) and stumbles across a thirty year old mystery that they then try to solve.
