I loved this children's story about the reasons and meanings behind tattoos. My own tattoos tell important stories about my past, and I think it's important to deconstruct the social stigma of tattoos.

Awww, this one is super sweet. The dad tells his little boy the stories behind each of his tattoos. Of course, I love the one that is from a book. And I acknowledge that I am a total sucker for picture books about great dads. So glad there are more of them around nowadays.

A cute and simple story that would be great for sharing one-on-one, especially if someone in the family has some tattoo stories of their own to share. Plus the dad in this book needs to call me if it doesn't work out with his storybook wife. #picturebooks #storytime #hotdad

My favorite thing about picture books is when they try to break down some stereotype. To take something that is scary or taboo and make it look normal and acceptable and perhaps even cute. This book does that.
