In this rhyming narrative, Meyers conveys that babies all over the world experience the same things, from learning to walk to being carried to making new friends to being loved. The illustrations showcase a diverse set of babies and families depicting each situation and phrase. I like the rhythm of the narrative and would use this in a story time...if I still did story times at my library!
