Scary book, was not expecting this. I expected the Blake Crouch who wrote Dark Matter, not Dean Koontz…this is about a psychopath serial killer and definitely not my cup of tea. It was a page turner, but I almost DNF‘d it 3 times…ughhh, never again. For me this was a book I should‘ve never read. For someone who likes serial killer psycho paths, this will be right up your alley. His first book.

I just finished this and omg! It‘s the most intense book I‘ve ever read! I literally was so nervous and all Holy Shiiiii! Through the entire book! Starting book2 of the trilogy now! Whew!

When I first read this book, it terrified me and I gave it ⭐⭐⭐. Having finished it for a second time, it's definitely a ⭐⭐⭐⭐. Considering this is his first novel, you can see the skill and twisted-ness that is Blake Crouch. I can't wait to read the rest of the series now!

I've read this book before, when I was in high school, and some of the terrifying images have stayed with me since. I tried to read it years ago, a second time and it scared me too much. But I love Blake Crouch and I've missed this book and want to read the whole series, so I'm starting again. Here. We. Go. #currentlyreading
