I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Mommas boy? Check, check and check. Now I cant stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. Its just a harmless crush, right? Its not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. Its not like Im going to see him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because hes the doctor. Shoot. Me. But what if, for once, the man Ive had the dirtiest, most scandalous fantasies about turned out to be everything but wrong? Wrong is a full-length, standalone novel by Jana Aston

How can something so taboo be so funny and yet also steamy?! I can't believe I liked this book, but the author does sexy humor incredibly well!!

Yet another romance that uses an abortion to show how selfish and awful a female villain is. This author is now on my DO NOT READ list.

I thought this was gonna be a contemporary romance with age difference but it turned out to be EROTICA (I'm talking BDSM, anal and very GRAPHIC descriptions of sex). The characters didn't have some kind of 'deeper' emotional connection. It was all about sex. I encountered a bunch of issues while reading this book, but overall, I did enjoy it. It made me laugh and was a fun and quick read.

Though the ending and epilogue saved this from being porn, just barely. Graphic sex (a little BDSM and a focus on “alternate entry points,”) crude/simplistic writing, no chemistry between any of the characters, poor character development, an off putting meet scene in a doctor‘s office, and the overall inappropriateness of a 37-yo gynecologist and his 21-yo virgin patient... it‘s just wrong. This isn‘t romance.

Owlizabeth That sounds very ew 7y

This is definitely a #BlameitonLitsy moment because I picked up this book based on a rec from @MarriedtoMrT . I found the meet cute funny but unfortunately, couldn't really feel the connection between the two main characters beyond their physical attraction.

MarriedtoMrT Bummer! Don't even try the others then! I had issues with the second half of Right. I think this one definitely could have been right book, right time for me because some of it is more drama than I usually go for. 8y
Chachic @MarriedtoMrT Yeah, I don't think her writing is for me. Good thing the book was just 0.99usd so it was okay for me to try it out. It wasn't the drama that I didn't enjoy, more that I didn't really care about the characters.😔 8y

I'm not having the best luck lately with my reading choices being in the Litsy catalog and I don't want to wait 4-5 business days for the add. The book tagged was the first in the series and I loved it (I was not as happy with book 2.)

Today I read Fling, a novella in the same series. It was exactly what I needed. Office romances are my jam and props for making it not boss/assistant but assistant and boss' best friend, company CFO. #romantsy

Chachic Oooh sounds like a good one! I should check it out. 8y
MarriedtoMrT @Chachic The novella would be a good place to start to see if you like her writing. There are character appearances but nothing too spoiler-y. I really liked Wrong but was not as into Right (book 2) which had a twist in the middle that was a bummer for me. 8y
Chachic I was thinking the same thing, that the novella would be a good place to start. But then I saw that Wrong and Fling have the same price so I don't know. LOL. I do like office romances when they're done well. 8y
MarriedtoMrT @Chachic If they're the same price then I would suggest Wrong. More words for your buck and I did like that one better than the novella. 8y
Chachic Yep, they're both 0.99usd. Thanks for the rec! 😊 8y
