My first James Patterson experience.
What a book! His style of writing with such pace means you never come up for air. The suspense he builds and questions he makes you ask are incredibly clever. Phenomenal book and definitely a new fan here.

I am on a bit of a role with James Patterson at the moment. This one was another fantastic novel, but I felt there were only a few omg moments which was slightly disappointing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Finished this one all in one go last night because I couldn‘t sleep. I can‘t wait to read the second one now! I love a good James Patterson book. #Teamslaughter #Scarathlon

Nothing really spectacular about this book but it was a quick, enjoyable read. Both of the narrators were good and overall, I can‘t really find fault with it. Not terribly memorable but sometimes brain fluff isn‘t a bad thing.

Patterson isn‘t one of my favorite authors, but I can rely on his (or should I say his co-author‘s) work for a decent murder mystery. It also helps me climb #MountTBR. #LitsyAtoZ

I enjoyed the pace and writing of this book. The story won me over from the start and I wondered where it was going to go once it took off. Sadly the ending let me down and felt rushed. Oh well, on to the next one.

Loving my return to the thriller genre after spending some time with light, fluffy reads. Give me the mystery of a dead body any day.
