Don‘t know how this book came to me, just saw it was a psychological thriller. What a ride! Broke and lonely Julie Larson answers an ad to house sit and apartment in the famous Bartholomew building. She has been warned not to take the job and within days knows that something is seriously wrong with this building. Couldn‘t put it down!

New York Times Bestseller! I gave 5 stars. Love this author!
No visitors. No nights spent away from the apartment. No disturbing the other residents, all of whom are rich or famous or both. These are the only rules for Jules Larsen‘s new job as an apartment sitter at the Bartholomew, one of Manhattan's most high-profile and mysterious buildings.

I'm a bit behind on my #TheReadingRush reviews so bare with me as I try to catch up.

For this one I think I'm in the minority.
While I did find it entertaining, I also found it to be very predictable. Or maybe I've just figured out Sager's style, because I picked up on every little clue he dropped. So the big reveal wasn't that big to me.

Enchanted_Bibliophile In fact the red herring just before the reveal would have shocked me more. At that stages I was actually thinking if this is truly the way it's going I'll be very impressed. But alas it turned into precisely what I expected all along, give and take a few characters. 4y

For this prompt I took all the books left on my #BookSpinBingo and asked my husband to place them in a random order, blindfold me, spin me around a few times and this was the first book I touched ...

The tension or the what-the-f*ck-ness set from the beginning is palpable throughout the story. I never saw that ending coming, totally waylaid, and I was too engrossed to think about the possible implausibility of it to let it affect my rating too severely.

Exactly what I needed to get back my reading mojo. Solid page-turner even if I guessed the primary twist very early on.

ShyBookOwl Reading The Last Time I Lied currently. Also a page turner 😊 this one is on my TBR 5y
