Love this cook book! Healthy mid week dinners are yummy! You can see my favourite recipes are saved. Although sometimes the quantities are a bit odd, and the editing needs checking - several mistakes. Which is a shame as some of these recipes are yum!

Powered_By_Plants Yay 🤩 I love her cookbooks , not sure if it‘s this one but she makes a veggie paella and a new potato and quinoa curry ... cook these all the time 😋 4y
Mrs_B @Powered_By_Plants yes that‘s this one! My favourite is the Middle Eastern inspired dish with the tamari roasted cauliflower. Mmmm 4y

I enjoyed the friendly way Ella shares her story and encourages the reader to make steps to improve their own health.

Made some #audioknitting progress.

#Audiocooked dinner last night, Ella's quinoa dish with courgette/zucchini and broccoli; enough to last all weekend. Bought the wrong vegetable though, got aubergine/eggplant instead of broccoli 🙈. It doesn't look like much but it's tasty.

Some of these books have #NothingInCommon other than being crammed onto my shelves. There's a vegan cook book, a book about the phases of the moon, fantasy next to a bloody thriller, a romance in German, a notebook full of scenes for a novel I've wanted to write, books on linguistics and English Grammar, ...

@Cinfhen @Kalalalatja

Cinfhen Well to me, it ALL looks LOVELY 😊 6y
Kalalalatja I agree with @Cinfhen 😍 6y

Look how neat this package of used books is.

CoffeeAndABook I‘d say - put together with love & precision 👌🏻 I‘ve been sniffing around Wolkenschloss, I‘ll be interested to hear if you like it!!! 🌞Have a great Saturday, hope you can find a cool place somewhere 😅 6y
julesG @CoffeeAndABook Thanks. I remember @scripturient liked it 6y
julesG @CoffeeAndABook and I wanted to add before I hit the send button 🙈 that I'm trying my very best to stay cool. First I have to get some exercise done though. I'm doing something not too exhausting today, though. 6y

I love cooking and experimenting with different ideas. I find this book extremely useful as it's vegan and gluten free which although I am not I have friends who are. Tonight I'm trying the stuffed chestnut mushrooms except I used a giant Portobello mushroom instead, really Good filling!

Megabooks Yum! 7y

I have this book always near me for health reasons. And it's good. It seems difficult to change your whole food life at first, but Ella says it will get better. I believe her. But my imperial cat, Tarly, doesn't look happy 🐾

WarpedSweetness I have to change my whole food life soon and I'm a little scared. It seems like such a daunting task and I don't even know where to start. Hopefully this nutritionist I'm going to see can help. How have you been adjusting? 8y
bobregina @WarpedSweetness it was easy for me to become a vegetarian because it was a personal choice. However the hardest part is to substitute that kind of food to one that can give the right amount of vitamins, that the body need, and that's why became ill. This book is helping me a lot on my recovery but it takes time. But I don't miss what I used to eat, I feel so much better now. And you will too, trust me☺️this book's recipes are easy and so tasteful 8y
WarpedSweetness @bobregina That's what I am really forward too, feeling so much better. I'll have to pick up this book, thanks! 8y

Back to school tomorrow means lunches and dinners and early mornings fuelled with real food AND 4 people going in completely different directions all day every day #hangontoyourhat

SusanInTiburon It is a real challenge. Reminds me of the time my daughter called from college, moaning, "I have to feed myself THREE TIMES A DAY!" ? 8y
mcctrish @susaninTiburon adulting is hard work 😂 8y

Another #uniquefact: I've been a vegetarian since birth, and when I was 20 I found out that I'm allergic to garlic and onions. It's a little tragic, especially because I live in Providence, which is known for amazing Italian food—I can't set foot in an Italian restaurant without feeling like I might die. The recipes in this cookbook are entirely plant-based, and none of them call for garlic or onions! 🙌 #augustofpages #augustphotochallenge

mllemay I love her so much!! And all her recipes are always super tasty 😛 8y
kammartinez It's always great when you can find a cookbook that works around your allergies :D. I myself am not allergic to anything (as far as I know), but I have enough friends who are, some with rather stringent requirements. The good things about that, though, is that there's only a handful of places we CAN eat, w/c takes out the difficulty of having to decide on a place whenever we go out XD. 8y
mauveandrosysky Whoa I need this. Thanks for sharing. 8y
DebinHawaii I love her blog and her cookbook is on my list. 👍😀 8y

So, I still haven't decided what role Litsy shall have, or not, in my life. Not helped by the fact I haven't been reading these last few weeks. Unless cookbooks count!? Currently perusing this one from the library, and it's making me hungry. I may end up buying my own copy.
