This was a very quick read & I loved it! 4.5 stars. I initially read it bc the adaptation of it premieres on Lifetime 3/29 & I had the book I got as a bargain book from Books-a-Million so I picked it up & flew through it. It was what I needed to get me out of a slight physical reading slump. I‘ve read Liv Constantine & have even met them & I want to read their other books that I haven‘t read already!

We hear a lot about The Last Mrs. Parrish, but The Wife Stalker delivers one of the most shocking twists I‘ve read—one that made me want to reread immediately.

In affluent Westport, Piper inserts herself into attorney Leo Drakos‘s life, leaving his wife, Joanna, desperate to uncover the truth. Tense, fast-paced, and utterly absorbing, Liv Constantine proves once again that two minds can create something truly diabolical.

This one really had me going. Listening to the audiobook while driving in my car, there were multiple times where I found myself cursing out loud at one of the two main characters. This book had narcissism, unreliable narration, and surprising twists.

I already have one Liv Constantine book picked as a #WeeklyFavorite this month. This could be the second. I partially predicted the twist at the end but was surprised as well. I listened to this on audio and the narration was very good.

This book definitely hooked me from the very beginning and the twist was not what I expected at all. I had some suspicions, but it definitely was not what I thought it was going to be! Fast paced, quick read and very compelling. Definitely a page turner!

Wow. Thriller isn‘t usually my genre but I could not put this one down. There were a few parts that left me confused but then most of it made sense in the end. I still do not like Piper, AT ALL. And her last thought at the end, she‘s an evil B. Book #66 in 2021

While I was reading I kept comparing this story to a couple other domestic thrillers I‘ve read and hoping the ending wasn‘t down the same lane. The twist was not the same but there were some unanswered questions that I wish were wrapped up a bit better. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another good summer read!

I was pretty convinced I'd be panning this one - there wasn't a likeable character in the bunch and my patience was quickly waning. And then BOOM the finale twist was actually pretty crazy, I didn't see it coming at all. The kind of WTF twist that makes you look back at the rest of the book with a whole new lens. And while the ending was impactful, it wasn't *quite* enough for me to forget my earlier animosity and swing to a solid pick. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Wife Stalker was very suspenseful and grabbed my attention from the beginning. Piper and Joanna are interesting characters with many secrets. The story is told from Piper and Joanna‘s perspectives. I kept trying to figure out what would happen next. I found the story interesting.

WOW! This book definitely had one of the biggest twist that I did not see coming! Initially, I didn‘t like the book because the info provided was so false! All the falseness was then realized that it should have given me a clue about the twist! The ending was everything!! #bookreview #reading #books #thrillers

If you can get past some of the parts that feel unrealistic, the story has a good pace and the twist is decent. The characters are pretty fleshed out although at times they feel pretty one-dimensional. I rated it a pick because it did keep me interested and I wanted to see how they wrapped it up.

Fast read and great twist! This is one of those books that made me want to go back and re-read some sections to look for clues that I had missed!

Piper marries Leo, quickly inserting herself into their little family where he already has a son and daughter. But before Piper, Joanna was the woman of the house. Is she going to really just sit back and let Piper move in?

Particularly after finding out BOTH of Piper‘s ex husbands passed away?

I hate to admit this is one of those times that I couldn‘t stop yelling out loud at the book because I was completely engrossed in the story. At first, I was infuriated with the ending and I‘m pretty sure I had the dumbest “shocked” look on my face. Then I came to appreciate the writers‘ twist in the ending. After doing some digging into the author, I learned that “Liv Constantine” is the pen name for two sisters. Well done ladies! ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Finishing this up today. I think these crazy reads are helping me to keep MY sanity. Maybe.

Okay you guys I bailed on this one! It was too parallel to The Last Mrs. Parrish and I think the narrator was the same too making it seem like I had heard this story before. Maybe Ill try the print.

This was a good fast entertaining read. Joanna has been by her husbands side as he‘s built his law practice, raised their kids and put her own career on hold. He‘s just coming out of a depression and she is happy to finally have her husband back. It‘s not long before she finds out it‘s another woman who has brought him out of his slump. This was good but there were a few things that didn‘t make sense once the twists were revealed.

Quick read and a good twist! 😜 🤘🏻

Started the audiobook this morning!🎧
Breezing into the tony seaside paradise of Westport, Connecticut, gorgeous thirtysomething Piper Reynard sets down roots, opening a rehab and wellness space and joining a local yacht club. When she meets Leo Drakos, a handsome, successful lawyer, the wedding ring on his finger is the only thing she doesn‘t like about him. Yet as Piper well knows, no marriage is permanent.

I hate to say it but I think this writing team is a one hit wonder. Nothing they have written has lived up to "The Last Mrs. Parrish". The entire book is mediocre at best and once I got to the mess of an ending, I was so done. Glad this was a library book. ?

The Wife Stalker is not a romance, but a tense suspense.
