It was a warm one but we had so much fun at paint the town pink this evening!
I know I said I was going to explain back in August. Time has really flown, but since it‘s October, this feels like a good time to finally put this out there. On 7/8, my mother was so weak, that she fell outside of our apartment on the sidewalk and I couldn‘t get her up, so we had to have an ambulance come get her. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
In October, we wear pink! Ladies, please, please, please get a mammogram every year. Guys, please make sure the ladies in your life get a mammogram every year. A mammogram saved my life. 💗
I've been very open about my breast cancer journey, and am always here to listen to and encourage anyone who finds themself or someone they know having to go through this awful journey.
I thought it only appropriate to have my annual mammogram during breast cancer awareness month… please take the time to care for yourself and get checked out…. Early detection is key!
#Spooktober - Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Like so many families, my family has a cancer story as of two years ago. I watched my sister-in-law “fight like a girl,” and it was one of the bravest and most courageous battles that I have ever seen. A survivor‘s story is always that as are many illness encounters even when the battle is lost. Here‘s to raising awareness, encouraging hope and always praying for a cure!💗
Day 3 - #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #Spooktober
I had breast cancer 27 years ago. Don‘t forget to get your mammogram! I‘m getting another one on October 18! It could save your life for early detection! It saved mine!
