This was selected because of the adorable puppy on the cover, but turned out to be pretty decent. It‘s the 24th book in the series, so I‘ve probably missed a ton of backstory, but I didn‘t feel that lost. A fun Cozy Christmas Mystery... The background for this book was partially inspired by the story of Hugette Clark. I enjoy knowing the inspiration and background for a story even when fictional so that made this one even more interesting. Another good installment in this series 😁 If you enjoy cozy mysteries, If you like reading holiday stories, and if you love dogs; you'll enjoy this book and maybe even want to read this series 😊

The only bad thing about reading Christmas books at other times of the year is that I always, ALWAYS, end up getting a Christmas song stuck in my head for at least a week. This morning I was doing laundry and I couldn‘t figure out why I had Elvis‘s “Here Comes Santa Claus” stuck in my head 🎅🏻🤦🏼‍♀️
