pickI really enjoyed this! It goes along at a good pace & there's a host of interesting characters to keep you amused. The only thing that wasn't so good was everything is happening so fast you only get to know the main character, Kris. I started the next book last night when I couldn't sleep though & I think we'll be getting to know some of the other characters & a bit more of the back story 😊🖖

Today's author spotlight: Anne (Inez) McCaffrey! She passed away in Ireland in 2011 at 85. Spanning a 46-year writing career, she became the first woman to win a Hugo Award for fiction and the first to win a Nebula Award. Her 1978 novel, "The White Dragon," became one of the first sci fi books to appear on the NYT Best-Seller list. This is one of my favourite authors, Anne McCaffreys, version of it. In this, the Catteni Sequence, humans are slaves of the Catteni, humanoid aliens, who have a habit of dropping off human slaves onto new planets to see if they survive, then they colonise. What a world, huh.🌏🚀👽
Look what's on sale today as a Kindle ebook. I do not know if other platforms have it on sale but it's worth checking out. I like ebooks because it's easier to hide my addiction. And they are much easier to read on the bus (I spend about 15 hours a week on the bus). 😀
